What does KAW mean on TikTok?

Videos about KAW comments have been filling TikTok for the past couple of days and it has left many people confused. So what exactly does it mean?

This is not the first time that TikTok’s comment section has been filled with a particular phrase or a word. Prior to this, “Crop” and “Story Time” were the ones that had filled the area.

Now, just a couple of months after people grew tired of this, a new phrase is taking over the platform.

What does KAW mean on TikTok?

KAW means “Killl All Women” on TikTok. This term became popular when people came across the same on Urban Dictionary. It also appears to be a response to the KAM trend that had taken over the platform in 2021. KAM stands for “Kill All Men.”

As per Distractify, in 2021, the KAM trend started as a joke or a parody of “super feminist” beliefs. At the same time, another thing that made it popular was the “kill all men” audio that had been receiving a lot of attention.

TikTok hops on the KAW trend

Things seem to be a bit different with the KAW trend. Unlike the KAM trend where people made several videos and filled the comment section with the same, some users noticed that TikTok immediately bans the person who has commented on the platform by writing KAW.

However, there are a few who seem to have no problem doing so. At the moment, it is unclear why that happens. Nonetheless, if you also search for KAW on the TikTok’s search bar you will be warned immediately.

The message reads: “This phrase may be associated with hateful behavior. TikTok is committed to keeping our community safe and working to prevent the spread of hate.”
