Meghan Markle news latest: Harry’s ‘bizarre language’ leaves Palace ‘ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS’ after tell-all interviews

PRINCE Harry spoke with “bizarre language” during his return to the UK this month, as the Palace “still absolutely furious” with him, claims a royal expert.

Speaking to Australian TV about the relationship between the Royal Family and the Sussexes, the Mirror’s royal correspondent Russell Myers claims the situation is “very very frosty”.

Referring to the Duke of Sussex’s recent interview, Russell Myers said: “Harry was giving an interview just a couple of weeks ago when he was at the Invictus Games.

“It was all, sort of, bizarre language, he was there to protect the Queen and these things are not going down too well.

“If it [their relationship] is to be repaired, then there needs to be a bit more water under the bridge”.

Mirrorman Myers agreed with Australian TV Host Richard Wilkins on the Today Show. He claimed the royal couple may be trying to “have their cake and eat it too”.

Myers added: “If Harry’s looking for some, sort of, piecemeal then he was a long way off that.

“The people I speak to, the Palace every day, who [are] obviously very very well connected with the top players, as it were.

“They are still absolutely furious”.

Myers added: “You can’t go on, you know, international television interview with Oprah Winfrey, complaining about your treatment with the family and then wanting to sit down with them when you’re still giving interviews”.

  • Prince William blamed for ‘leaked gossip’

Royal commentator for Yahoo news, Omid Scobie has hit out at the Duke of Cambridge.

Very candidly, Omid told Yahoo: “Prince William plans to phase out the ‘never complain, never explain’ mantra. Good.

“But starting with leaked gossip about family fractures he has criticised Harry for sharing probably isn’t the best way of going about it.

“Instead of hearing more about the Duke’s ambitious environmental plans, we were told in detail by close sources that William feels Prince Harry ‘has 100 percent crossed that line’ by speaking publicly about his struggles within the family.”

This comes right after the Duke’s 40th birthday, on the 21 June.

  • Silence from Prince Harry and Meghan

Could this be an end to the drama? Or are they waiting for their next move?

After it has been shockingly revealed that the Palace will not publish findings over the bullying claims made against Meghan Markle, the Sussex’s have been radio silent.

While fans have rallied to Meghan’s defence the house of Sussex have kept a very low profile.

  • Prince Charles and Camilla visit Rwanda for the first time

They will remember those who lost their lives in the horror genocide that claimed more than a million lives.

It is their first ever visit to Rwanda, and they are commemorating the country’s reconciliation that started in 1994.

When the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Caribbean for their Royal tour they were received with protests by upset locals, cancelled engagements and controversial pictures in the press.

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward said Wills is upset with how things went during the tour, and how Kate was treated.

Ingrid said: “When he and Kate were ridiculed during their Caribbean tour last March, he was understandably furious.”

Speaking to the Mirror, she added: “As far as he was concerned someone should have read the current mood of the country and acted upon it long before the schedule was arranged.”

  • Shh! Camilla tells Kate and Netherland’s Queen Maxima to stop talking

The Duchess of Cornwall had to politely tell them to be quiet during the Order of the Garter ceremony in 2019.

Camilla tapped the ladies on the arm to remind them to face forward for the procession, before they missed the event.

  • Harry and William should have congratulated Camilla

Earlier in the year it was announced that Camilla would become Queen Consort when Prince Charles becomes king.

Prince Charles is next in line to the throne, and his mother is 96-years-old meaning its likely that he will assume the throne in the coming years.

When he first married Camilla, it was said that she would never be queen, but the family were found to backtrack.

Upon the announcement, neither Harry or William publicly congratulated Camilla suggesting that though the relationship with their stepmother has improved, it was a reminder that the title should have gone to their mother, Princess Diana.

Speaking on Pod Save the Queen, expert Andrew Morton said: “William will be the direct heir and Harry is sixth in line, they should have weighed in with a few sentences congratulating Camilla on her elevation.”

  • Kate and William snubbed 1-year-old Lilibet

Meghan and Harry invited Kate, William and their kids, but they rejected the invite.

Things have been fraught between the Cambridges and Sussexes for some time now, particularly since Meghan and Harry chose to quit the Royal family.

During the Platinum jubilee weekend, Harry and Meghan were reportedly hoping to mend bridges with family members including William and Kate.

They allegedly invited William, Kate and their three children to Lilibet’s low-key first birthday gathering as an olive branch which was allegedly rejected.

A decade or so ago, the princes were frustrated by the media.

Both Harry and William allegedly wanted things to change, but they each went about things in different way.

Talking to Daily Mail, friend of the royals said: “A decade ago, William was just as furious as Harry was with the media. But, unlike his brother, he wanted to work things through, particularly when it came to ring-fencing his children.

“He did that in a level-headed and conciliatory way as he understands more than anyone the interest in them as a family.

“Once that was in place, he was much better equipped to cope with the levels of interest. It’s why many think Harry and Meghan just didn’t give it enough time.”

  • Life begins at 40 for Prince William

The old adage that “Life begins at 40” may be true for the Duke of Cambridge as he gears up for a more prominent role in the decade ahead.

William appears ready to embark on the next step of his life in the monarchy that will ultimately see him become king after channelling his efforts into issues like mental health, homelessness and protecting the environment.

Married to wife Kate for more than 10 years and with a young family – they will be the face of the modern monarchy for decades to come.

With the death of his grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh and his brother the Duke of Sussex stepping down as a working royal, his position as a senior royal is even more pivotal and he appears to have played a part in the “family decision” to limit the Duke of York’s role at the recent Garter Day service.

William’s early life was overshadowed by the death of his mother Diana, Princess of Wales in a Paris car crash in 1997 and he still speaks about her influence, including how as a young boy she took him to a shelter for rough sleepers and introduced him to the issue of homelessness.

He found love at university meeting fellow student Kate Middleton, who he would wed in 2011 at Westminster Abbey, and the couple went on to have three children, firstborn George – also a future king – in 2013, followed by Charlotte in 2015 and Louis in 2018.

  • Kate and William’s move will make them neighbours with Meghan and Harry

The Cambridges are set to move from Kensington to Windsor.

The move will mean they’re closer to the Queen, but they’ll also be closer to Meghan and Harry whenever they visit the UK.

The chances of them crossing paths will be more likely, which will be awkward due to their long-standing estrangement.

Meghan and Kate once seemed to get along very well, but the lead-up to the Sussex marriage changed things. And all was made worse by Meghan and Harry’s interview with Oprah in March last year.

  • No way back for Meghan and Kate

A source said Kate refuses to ‘back down’.

Talking to Heat!, a source close to the Royal family said Kate and William have no intention of reconciling with Meghan and Harry.

They’ve suggested that Harry tried to relax Meghan and though their reception by the public wasn’t as bad as it could be, the family were more hostile than hoped.

The source went on: “It seemed clear that Kate had no interest in playing nice with Meghan.

“And sad as it is, William feels the same. The view is that the Sussexes were lucky to receive any type of goodwill after the damage and embarrassment they’ve caused the monarchy.

“Neither side looks likely to back down.”

The other teacher was Eva Mireles. Her husband, Jose Antonio, died two days after his wife due to a heart attack, which the family attribute to the sudden loss of his wife of 24 years.

  • Meghan got the wrong end of the stick with Kate

In Meghan and Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah last year, the Duchess said Kate apologised to her.

It had been reported that Kate cried in lead up to Meghan and Harry‘s wedding, but in the interview with Oprah, Meghan said it was actually the other way around and it was she who cried at the hands of Kate.

She explained that Kate had apologised though, saying: “She owned it, and she apologised. She brought me flowers and a note, apologising.

“She did what I would do if I knew that I hurt someone, right, to just take accountability for it.”

However, a friend of Kate and William has said that actually, the flowers were a peace offering, not an apology: “It obviously never occurred [to Meghan] that they were a peace offering, not an apology.”

  • William celebrates 40th birthday without brother

As the older brother hits middle age, the younger brother is relegated to the side-lines.

  • American’s come to Meghan’s defence

A host of an American podcast is shocked at the situation.

ToDiForDaily’s Kinsey Schofield claimed Americans are unhappy about the bullying report being buried.

She said: “Let me tell you, I cannot believe that the Palace is going to bury this Meghan Markle story, the Meghan Markle bullying claims.”

  • Why isn’t Meghan calling for the report to be published?

Since 2020, the Duchess has been the recipient of bullying allegations.

Information about the alleged bullying was leaked which prompted Buckingham Palace to investigate the accusations.

The enquiry was conducted by an independent party, and the report is now reportedly completed.

If the report clears Meghan‘s name, shouldn’t she be calling for it to be published? And if Buckingham Palace have found her guilty, wouldn’t they want it published?

It’s not clear which way the results went.

  • Will and Kate will celebrate their birthdays together

Prince Charles had “explosive rows” with his eldest son, Prince William, after feeling that he was being “airbrushed” out of the Cambridges’ lives, it’s reported.

Insiders say the Prince of Wales was hurt when William became close to the Middleton family – and felt “bruised” by their relationship.

Charles is rarely able to attend last-minute family events as his busy diary is organised up to six months in advance, they said.

It means he has been forced to miss “impromptu” birthday parties for his grandchildren George, Charlotte and Louis, the Daily Mail reports.

Royal editor Rebecca English said: “Explosive rows between father and son were often overheard by staff, with Charles — who hates family confrontations — burying himself in his paperwork to avoid the conflict.”

However, in recent years the men have become much closer as they step up to support the Queen.

“It sounds brutal and it is sad but Harry is not part of the future that William envisages and he is almost irrelevant to that.

“And we saw that in a pretty stark way at the Jubilee celebrations I think.”
