FORMER Towie star Lauren Goodger has gone into hiding after an alleged attack by her boyfriend — and fears she may have suffered a fractured eye socket.
Lauren, 35, is holed up with a pal at a secret address because she fears bumping into Charles Drury, who has been bailed on suspicion of assaulting her after their baby’s funeral.
She also faces an anxious wait for X-ray results after suffering serious facial injuries in the alleged early hours bust-up last Thursday.
Builder Drury, 25, is said to have assaulted her just hours after a private family burial for tragic Lorena, who died shortly after birth on July 8 following complications.
Ten doctors battled to save the 9lb mite who had a strong heartbeat before Lauren’s contractions began.
Sources say Lauren fears the bail conditions do not prevent him from entering the county, meaning she may bump into him.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Lauren is absolutely terrified. This has shaken her badly.
“She suffered some nasty injuries and fears she has suffered a broken eye socket.
“She’s still in a lot of pain and is waiting for the X-ray results to see how serious it is.”
The source added: “Lauren is now in hiding with a friend. She’s really stressed that Charlie’s bail conditions have not specified that he’s kept out of the Essex area.
“She doesn’t want him to be allowed to set foot in Essex.
“She is very shaken by this situation.”
Drury, who has a year-old daughter, Larose, with Lauren, contacted The Sun to deny attacking Lauren.
He phoned hours after we broke the story yesterday and said: “There’s a completely different side to stuff.”
Dancing on Ice and Big Brother star Lauren, meanwhile, was said to have been at “rock bottom” even before the alleged attack, after which a friend took her to hospital.
Just days after the death she posted a picture of herself holding up her baby’s tiny hand.
The day before Drury’s arrest, she went on Instagram to say: “I carried you. I felt you grow.
“Longed for the day we’d meet. Dreamed of your future”.
Police confirmed they were called to an address in Upminster, Essex, at 00.37am on Thursday to reports of an altercation.
A spokesman said: “At the scene a woman, aged 30s, was found with facial injuries. A man, aged 25, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
“He was taken to an East London police station and subsequently bailed pending further inquiries.”
