The Pokemon Go Community Day for Deino starts soon and it will be shiny for those who have a chance at tracking a variant down.
Fans have already had a busy month, with much of the focus connected to Pokemon Go Fest held just a few weeks ago.
But with that in the rear mirror and the Go Fest Finale not until August, Trainers can start focusing on what is being planned for the end of June.
Can Deino Be Shiny In Pokemon Go?
Deino can be Shiny in Pokemon Go when it arrives later this month as part of an upcoming event. The rules of the Community Day are pretty well-established and make it possible to catch a shiny version of the Pocket Monster featured that month.
For June it will be Deino, who will be appearing more frequently in the wild between 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time on Saturday, June 25. This month’s Community Day is pretty short, and Trainer will only have a total of three hours to try and find a Shiny Deino before time runs out.
June Community Day will also feature additional bonuses. Incense and Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours, you’ll earn twice as much Candy for catching Pokémon, and you’ll have double the chance of getting Deino Candy XL when you catch Deino. Plus, Pokémon trades between friends will require only half the regular amount of Stardust.
If you run out of luck and don’t manage to catch a Shiny Deino, you will still be able to enjoy the special Bonus Raids after everything calms down. From 2pm until 7pm on the same day, gamers will gain access to what Niantic is calling “unique” four-star Raid Battles. Claiming victory in one of these raids will cause more Deino to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes.
As an added bonus, Zweilous will be appearing in four-star raids and defeating one will unlock the special Deino reward, along with the chance of some shiny variants popping up.
