What a signing Luis Diaz has been at Liverpool.
Despite only joining from Porto for £49 million in January, the 25-year-old Colombia international has effortlessly blended into Jurgen Klopp’s system.
It almost looks as if he’s been a Liverpool player for years rather than months, such has been his ridiculous transition.
Hell, the South American even upstaged some very excellent footballers at Wembley today by winning Man of the Match during the Reds’ FA Cup final victory over Chelsea.
In fact, he was arguably Liverpool’s finest player the last time Jurgen Klopp’s side met the Blues at Wembley, for the Carabao Cup final a few months ago.

Even Manchester United legends were sick over seeing the Merseysiders sign him.
So yes, Diaz has been a revelation and even that’s an understatement.
But he isn’t perfect and has probably just made his first mistake since joining the Anfield outfit.
During the trophy presentation, Diaz lifted the FA Cup over his head but the lid flew off and hit the deck, according to The Express.
Here’s footage of the incident on Twitter:
Paul Merson tipped Diaz to potentially win the competition for Liverpool today, but that honour belonged to Kostas Tsimikas.
Well, kind of.
The Greece international scored the winning penalty during the shootout, giving the Reds a 6-5 win after two hours of football couldn’t separate Klopp’s troops from the Stamford Bridge outfit.
Having already won the League Cup, the Reds are now 50 percent of the way toward winning the quadruple.
Liverpool are three points behind Manchester City in the Premier League table with only two games to go, making that competition quite unlikely to win, but a Champions League final against Real Madrid looms large in two weeks.
